Create an explosion of the mind with some household ingredients, and watch the excitement light up your children’s eyes as they watch the colors dissipate. Finding the sweet treat at the end is just an added bonus of these Magic Shamrocks.
This activity doubles as a fun science experiment, and it’s so easy. With household ingredients you probably already have on hand, you can actually pour a rainbow in a jar. Cool, huh?!

Plants inspire learning, and what better way to slip in a science and botany lesson than planting shamrocks! And, if you’re lucky enough, you may even find a four-leaf clover.
These leprechaun hats are a cute craft to decorate any room for Saint Patrick’s Day. If you don’t have pots around the house, substitute a small plastic container. And, rather than buying a buckle, use yellow paint to make this as simple as possible!

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and can help kids learn. So, why not make your Saint Patrick’s Day breakfast one to remember with rainbow pancakes leading you straight to the pot of gold! This is a great opportunity to teach your little ones all about the color wheel, and what actually makes a rainbow.
Make your mid-day meal something special by adding these cute leprechaun footprints across your student’s plates. All you need is a little icing, dyed with green food coloring and a Ziploc baggie to turn your child’s meal into a Saint Patrick’s Day lunch!
